Episode One - Location: Coral Coast, Fiji
Epsiode Summary:
Coral Coast, Fiji: Paradise beckons, and a California entrepreneur enlists Danielle Robb to help him answer her call. On exotic Fiji’s Coral Coast Danielle takes him on a tour of million dollar homes and gives him an insider’s perspective on Fijian life. Danielle is welcomed by a village chief, partakes in a kava ceremony and then learns how to shake it island-style. She also learns to ride the wild surf, a must since her client is a surfer looking for a perfect home by the perfect break.
Episode Two - Location: Wine Country, Argentina
Epsiode Summary:
Mendoza, Argentina: The renowned wine region of Argentina has more treasures to offer then just grapes. Danielle is inspired by the unique culture and history that is preserved and celebrated in this area. Danielle gets completely immersed in the vineyard lifestyle by staying at a rustic lodge amid the old vines and takes cooking lessons to master the local version of the empanada. She guides her guests through the rustic countryside as they explore the area of San Rafael and look for a vineyard home to become their dream retreat.
Episode Three - Location: Sicily, Italy
Epsiode Summary:
Sicily, Italy: Anthony wanted to experience authentic Italy. An American with roots that went back to Sicily, he enlisted Danielle to help him find the perfect vacation home. Anthony wanted it not only to have real character, but to be the type of place his children and their families would also enjoy someday. He was ready to start a new family tradition, in the place his family’s heritage began. Anthony’s vision was the driving force- he didn’t care how much work it would take. So Danielle showed him everything from a crumbling ruin, to a $1Euro historic property to a countryside villa with a million dollar view (but not a million dollar price tag)! Along the way, Danielle got an insider’s tour of Sicily- historic castles, Greek ruins, Sicilian carriage rides, delicious marzipan and chocolate factories and a private performance by a famous folk dancing troop.
Episode Four - Location: Ambergris Caye
Epsiode Summary:
Ambergris Caye, Belize: There is something intrinsically enticing about the island lifestyle. Danielle heads to Central America to the island of Ambergris Caye and quickly realizes how special this tropical paradise truly is. As the only English-speaking country in Central American (and formerly a British territory), Belize mixes the exotic with the familiar. Danielle is scouting properties for a couple who love the beach lifestyle and have thought about moving to Hawaii. Danielle thinks they may change their mind after visiting Belize. Traveling by boat, Danielle guides them through the waterfront homes she thinks they’ll love. By golf cart (the preferred means of transportation for the tiny island), Danielle guides them through the unique culture of the local people.
Episode Five - Location: Nelson, New Zealand
Epsiode Summary:
Nelson, New Zealand: Danielle visits New Zealand’s southern island and is inspired by the breathtaking scenery and genuine warmth of the people. Between ATVing, kayaking and the Skywire, Danielle truly embraces the great outdoors and gets an unparalleled view of the region. After fully immersing herself in the flavor of Nelson, Danielle is ready to guide a couple from San Diego on their journey to find a second home. Edward, an architect, and Mel, a restaurant executive, have traveled the globe and have decided that New Zealand feels most like home. Danielle helps them explore one-of-a-kind homes that merge their different styles (urban vs. country).
Episode Six - Location: Riviera Maya, Mexico
Epsiode Summary:
Riviera Maya, Mexico: The Riviera Maya is an area rich in the history and culture of the Mayan people. Danielle explores Mexico with Emmy-winning actress Natalia Livingston and they savor the sights, sounds and flavors of this magical region. Riviera Maya is one of the most luxurious resort areas on the Caribbean and, after they finish exploring, Danielle shows Natalia some of the eco-friendly and luxurious resort homes in Mayakoba. Natalia is looking for a retreat that gives her a place to recharge and spend quality time with friends and family, as well as takes her back to her roots and Mexican heritage. Danielle hopes to guide Natalia to a place that will inspire the actress and give her a peaceful place to unwind from her hectic Hollywood schedule.
Episode Seven - Location: Dubrovnik, Croatia
Epsiode Summary:
Dubrovnik, Croatia: The best preserved example of Baroque architecture in Europe makes it seem like you are entering a fairytale when you step into Dubrovnik. Croatia’s most historic city is rich with culture and style. Danielle explores the narrow cobblestone streets and winding stairs leading to quaint shops and beautiful cafes. A visit to the dramatic cliffs and quaint seaside villages outside the walled city confirms what Danielle had hoped for- Dubrovnik seems like the vacation spot Robert has dreamed of. Robert loves the European flare and the seaside beauty of the region and Danielle guides him to what she hopes will be exactly what he is looking for- a home unlike anywhere he’s lived before.
Episode Eight - Location: Crete, Greece
Epsiode Summary:
Crete, Greece: After spending time working on the Olympics in Greece, Christina has decided she’d like a second home on Crete. She still has family on the island and would like a place close to her roots. However, Danielle must also appeal to Christina’s New Yorker sensibility and desire for charm with real design style. On Christina’s “must have” list? Space for entertaining, a view and something that won’t require much elbow grease to be move-in ready.
Episode Nine - Location: Placencia, Belize
Epsiode Summary:
Placencia, Belize: Danielle is in Placencia just seven hours after leaving Los Angeles. By hour eight she is snorkeling and unwinding in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. Within a day of landing in paradise, Danielle has already learned about the local Garifuna culture and has been invited to try her hand at dancing and drumming to the local beat. She thinks this change of pace may be perfect for workaholics Chris and Monica. Danielle knows the LA couple needs more more than a vacation home, they need an extraordinary experience and a lifestyle change. After a sailboat ride to a deserted island and an afternoon picnic, Danielle thinks she has guided Chris and Monica to a country they can consider a second-home.
Episode Ten - Location: Okanagan, Canada
Epsiode Summary:
Danielle visits the sunnier side of Canada, going to an organic enclave of active, outdoor living with a couple of high-adventure baby boomers looking for new challenges. While in the Okanagan, Danielle explores all that this amazing region has to offer. From wine festivals to farmer’s markets and from jet skiing to a leisurely lake tour, Danielle experiences a side of Canada many people don’t even know exists- where the weather is as sunny as the people!
Episode Eleven - Location: San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua
Epsiode Summary:
San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua: Danielle has been dreaming of a charming, seaside town in Central America that isn’t overflowing with tourists. When she learns about San Juan del Sur, she heads to Nicaragua to see if it is everything she’d hoped for. After seeing the amazing surf, fresh local seafood and welcoming attitude of the local people, Danielle knows Nicaragua will be perfect for Alicia.
Alicia is a California surfer-girl but her family’s roots are on the East Coast and in the hotel business. Alicia is ready to combine her passions by opening a B&B close to the beach and with some of the world’s best surf spots and bargain home prices, Danielle thinks she’ll love San Juan del Sur.
Episode Twelve - Location: Buenos Aires, Aregentina
Epsiode Summary:
Buenos Aires, Argentina: Clients Michael and Jennifer want a home with a European vibe but in an area that is more laid-back. Danielle thinks Buenos Aires, known as the Paris of South America, will be perfect for the couple who want to live somewhere where they can walk to great restaurants, stores and shopping. They also are thinking of starting a family so Danielle must find a way to balance their tastes for something that is modern yet comfortable with a home that could be baby-friendly.
